A vibraknife is a knife with a monofilament edge and a small motor that causes the blade to vibrate. The vibration causes the knife to cut deeper and quicker than a normal blade. Batteries last for 5 minutes and cost 100Y each. Vibra knives are never longer than eight inches of blade. Blades longer than eight inches cannot be made into vibraknives because it would take too large of a motor to cause the knife to vibrate effectively.

This knife when subjected to micro waves becomes a misshapen blob of puddy, give this blob a couple of sharp raps (dropping it on the floor, or hitting a table top a 2-3 times will do.) and it will reshape itself (two minutes) into a very useful knife.

A makwire is one and a half meters of fifteen millimeter chain with a wooden handle on one end and a metal weight one the other end. The chain has large barbed hooks attached to it every ten centimeters.
When a successful attack is made, the victim must make a strength (6) check, if he makes no successes, at least one limb is caught by the barbed hooks. Once a victim is caught, he only gets half his usual combat/dodge pool until after freeing himself. A successful strength (6) check will free the victim, but every attempt at freeing himself causes a 8L wound resisted by body with only half impact armor.
The eight concealability is for recognizing the makwire as a weapon when it is worn as a decorative clothing accessory.

Spider silk armor can be made into any article of clothing. A spidersilk secure jacket would have an armor rating of 7/3, concealability of 11, and look like high quality dinner jacket. Spidersilk armor adds 50% to the ballistic rating of the clothing, it does not help the impact rating at all. It also adds 25% to the concealability of the item and raises the cost by a factor of 200% (a spidersilk secure jacket would cost 2550Y). Street index is five and availability is always 20/14 days.
